Dessie Kyle joined the Hurt team as Centre Manager in March 08 with over 15 years Management experience. Dessie holds a level 5 Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring, Diploma in NLP, ASIST Safetalk, Level 2 Drugs & Alcohol & Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management.

Sadie O’Reilly is the Project Coordinator and founder of Hurt, and has been managing Hurt since forming the organisation. Sadie is a qualified NADA Auricular Acupuncture Trainer, She holds a Diploma in Drug & Alcohol Studies, Certificate in Alcohol Studies, Degree in Addiction Counselling, Certificate in Projective Techniques, Certificate in Hidden Harm, Certificate in CBT, Certificate in Motivational Interviewing, ASIST & Suicide Prevention Training.

Pauline is a business management graduate who oversees all the finance and administrative functions of HURT including responsibility for the management of accounts, databases, funding allocation and financial reporting. She is currently studying the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Diploma and also holds City & Guilds in Drug & Alcohol Awareness, ASIST & a Diploma in NLP and holds her Certificate in First Aid at work & trained in Automated External Defibrillation (AED) .

Bridie has been working as a volunteer in HURT since 2005. She is qualified in Auricular Acupuncture, Listening Ear and holds City & Guilds in Drug & Alcohol Awareness. Bridie also holds a Diploma in NLP, ASIST Safetalk, First Aid Certificate & is trained in Automated External Defibrillation (AED).

Ann has a Certificate in Counselling, Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and works as an integrative Counselor. Ann also has City & Guilds Level 2 Responding to Substance Misuse, ASIST Safetalk, Diploma in NLP, Solution Focus Brief Therapy, Mental Health training & Certificate in First Aid.

Natasha has a Foundation Degree in Responding Drug and Alcohol Misuse completed in January 2016. Natasha is now attending University of Ulster -Magee to complete Bsc Hons in Health & Wellbeing and anticipates completion in 2018.

Natasha is also a qualified therapist in Auricular Acupuncture, Reflexology, Reiki and Swedish Massage. Natasha has also trained in; Safetalk, & Suicide Intervention Training,.

Natasha also has First Aid, & is trained in Automated External Defibrillation (AED) She also has a Diploma in NLP, ASIST, City & Guilds in Drug & Alcohol Awareness and Botvin Lifeskills Training.

Dr. Hugh Quigley is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and Accredited Counselor. Hugh gained his PhD in 2007 has been training and working in the field of personal growth and development since 1991. Hugh also holds the following; Certificate in Therapeutic-arts, ASIST Safetalk, Master Practitioner in NLP, Diploma in Advanced Psychotherapy, Diploma in Psychiatric Studies, Professional Hypnotherapy & Clinical Hypnotherapy, Certificate in Supervision, Certificate in Bereavement Counselling, Bachelor of Science, Smart Recovery Facilitator, Certificate in Mindfulness, Train the Trainer, Diploma in Life Coaching, Certificate in Solution Focused Practice, Certificate in CBT.

Rose McCartney is a qualified holistic therapist and provides a wide range of treatments including massage reflexology. Rose has been practicing Reflexology over 14 years and provides reflexology to clients across the Hurt centres. She also holds a Certificate in First Aid & ASIST.

Receptionist

Tina has been with HURT since April 2011 as our Receptionist in the front office. Tina is the first point of contact for clients and visitors calling to our premises. She has successfully completed training in City and Guilds Level 2 in Responding to Substance Misuse and ASIST Safetalk Suicide prevention training. Tina has extensive experience working in office administration including NVQ Levels II & III in Word & Text Processing, NVQ Level II Support Users of IT and is currently studying Level 2 Diploma as an IT Professional. Tina also holds her Certificate in First Aid at work & trained in Automated External Defibrillation (AED) .

Caroline is a qualified Complementary Therapist with 14 years experience. She is also qualified in Auricular Acupuncture and is a graduate in Therapeutic Counselling. Caroline is recently qualified in NLP, Foundation Degree in Counselling and ASIST.

Adrian Loughrey

Project Worker

Adrian is the project worker on the Re-Engage with Age Project working with those who are aged 60+. This involves delivery of community education sessions, home support, therapeutic intervention and diversionary activities.
Adrian has worked on a number of Alcohol and drug education programmes in the North West area. He has a Diploma in Drug & Alcohol Studies from the University of Limerick and is currently completing his Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and is currently undertaking his student counselling hours with HURT. He has also completed training in Mental Health First Aid (MFHA), ASIST, self harm and motivational interviewing
Adrian has a background in Law, graduating with an LLB in 2005.

Our treatment centre offers a confidential, non judgemental approach to those affected by addiction.

HURT is a voluntary organisation working for the community. We support individuals and their families in all stages of recovery from alcohol and other drug problems. Our organisation will identify and advocate for needed services related to substance misuse, infuse hope, and increase public awareness that long-term recovery is a reality, enriching lives, and enhancing their recovery process.
